 It is a pleasure to share with you our seventh Corporate Responsibility Report 2012 rated, for the third consecutive year, with an A+, the highest possible rating for an annual sustainability report under the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

This year, our responsible performance  has been consolidated by milestones such as the successful results of the 2008-2012 Environmental Strategic Plan; the evolution towards responsible alliances and the commitment of our employees and customers with corporate volunteering projects, which gives solidity to our Social Action Strategy; or the inclusion of NH Hoteles in FTSE4Good, the prestigious sustainability stock exchange index, which includes the best companies that stand out for its responsible practices.

Corporate Responsibility Report 2011

It is a pleasure to share with you our sixth Corporate Responsibility Report 2011 (GRI A+). Here we report the progress and results of our commitments in the economic, social and environmental performance, as well as communicate the successful completion of our Environmental Plan 2008-2012, the approval and spread of the Code of Conduct, the launching of the new Corporate Web and the global consolidation of the Social Action Plan Up! for the People . We are proud of achieving our environmental goals, set in our Environmental Strategic Plan 2008-2012. Not only have we been able to reduce  in advance our consumption of water, energy and waste and our emissions, but have also involved all employees in a common commitment.

In 2010 we have defined our Social Action through a new global plan, with a commitment and collaboration based in our hotel Business. Under the Banner Up! for the people, we promote the corporate volunteering (Up! for Volunteering) ,the training in Hospitality for disadvantaged groups (Up! for Opportunities) and the collaboration with the Society through our products and services (Up! for Hospitality).

New meeting with the NH Sustainable Club suppliers

NH Hoteles has celebrated the 3rd meeting of the NH Sustainable Club in the hotel nhow Milano (Italy) with the suppliers committed to the environment and the search of sustainable solutions. In this event, there is a sharing and discussion of new R&D eco-efficient solutions and ideas that will become new services and products developed by NH.
